About the Position:
Our client, a leading global law firm, has an immediate need for a bankruptcy/restructuring attorney (1-3 yrs) to join its Chicago office as an associate. This practice group represents debtors, secured creditors and unsecured creditors’ committees, agents, bank groups, senior and mezzanine lenders, trustees, and receivers in debt restructuring, litigation, and bankruptcy reorganization proceedings nationwide.

Responsibilities:
· Represent debtors, secured creditors and unsecured creditors’ committees, agents, bank groups, senior and mezzanine lenders, trustees and receivers
· Assist with corporate bankruptcies, financial restructurings, loan workouts, corporate reorganizations, distressed M&A, or complex insolvency-related litigation matters

Required Qualifications:
· 1- 3 years of experience in corporate bankruptcies, financial restructurings, loan workouts, corporate reorganizations, distressed M&A, or complex insolvency-related litigation
· Candidates with federal circuit court, district court, or bankruptcy clerkship experience will be considered
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $215,000 – $250,000.
