We are working with one of the largest global law firms that has an immediate need for a bankruptcy attorney to join its Chicago office as a mid-level associate. This cross-disciplinary team represents clients spanning a range of sectors with restructuring and insolvency matters across the country. Responsibilities:
· Draft pleadings, motions, and Chapter 11-related documents, including plans, acquisition, and financing agreements
· Conduct legal research on federal and state law issues, as well as cross-border and Chapter 15 matters
· Assist with discovery and litigation related to adversary and contested matters
· Draft financing documents, pleadings, and acquisition agreements
Required Qualifications:
· 2 or more years of bankruptcy experience
· Top academic credentials
· Strong writing skills
· Bankruptcy clerkship is preferred

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000 – $310,000.
