We are working with a global Am Law 50 Firm that has an active need for a bankruptcy/restructuring attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate.

Responsibilities:
· Support clients in all facets of complex corporate restructuring transactions, including M&A, divestitures, and debt restructuring
· Work with partners to represent clients in negotiations, hearings and court proceedings related to business restructuring matters
· Conduct in-depth legal analyses to assess the legal implications of business restructuring
· Draft chapter 11 filings, term sheets and disclosure statements, plans of reorganization, settlements, and asset purchase agreements

Required Qualifications:
· 3-4 years of large law firm business restructuring experience
· Must have excellent academic credentials and the desire for a busy and sophisticated practice
· Bankruptcy Court clerkship experience is a plus

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $310,000.
