About the Position:
Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a bankruptcy and restructuring attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate. The firm advises creditors and debtors on bankruptcy, restructuring, and workout matters, including related litigation and distressed transactions, with a focus on preserving business value and achieving practical solutions.

Responsibilities:
· Handle bankruptcy proceedings and related commercial litigation matters
· Prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs in support of litigation and motion practice
· Assist with creditors’ rights issues and restructuring matters

Required Qualifications:
· 2-4 years of relevant experience, ideally involving bankruptcy, commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, and restructuring
· Excellent academic credentials
· Self-directed and confident, with an approachable manner and a collaborative working style

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary for this position is $235,000 – $310,000.
