About the Position:
Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a business litigation attorney to join its Santa Monica office as an associate. The firm advises sophisticated corporate clients, high net worth individuals and family offices, and emerging companies in a variety of litigation matters.

Responsibilities:
· Prepare substantive motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery materials for complex commercial litigation matters
· Research legal issues, assess factual records, and help develop practical case strategies and persuasive recommendations
· Oversee written discovery, document production, and fact and expert discovery, while assisting with preparation for key proceedings
· Take ownership of significant case assignments under partner supervision and coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and colleagues

Required Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience, with exposure to contract, business tort, partnership, shareholder, fiduciary duty, or similar disputes
· Strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
· Substantial motion-drafting experience; deposition and court appearance experience is a plus

Location:
Santa Monica, CA (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $220,000 – $290,000.
