About the Position:
Our client, a Midwest-based national law firm, is actively seeking a business litigator to join its Chicago office as an associate. The practice group handles a broad range of business disputes at the trial and appellate levels, tailoring each strategy to the client’s goals while giving clear risk and cost assessments.

Responsibilities:
· Handle all stages of complex business litigation matters, including fact investigation, discovery, and preparation of pleadings
· Take depositions and argue motions in state and federal court
· Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings
· Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and help shape and communicate case strategy

Required Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of complex business litigation experience
· State and federal court experience desired; second-chair trial or arbitration experience is a plus
· Excellent academic credentials

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base compensation or this position is $220,000 – $265,000.
