About the Position:
We are working with a global Am Law firm that has an active need for a capital markets lawyer to join its highly regarded corporate practice in Chicago as a mid-level associate. This practice handles private and public market securities offerings and other capital markets transactions for a range of clients, including large, mid-cap and emerging growth companies, underwriters, placement agents, trustees, venture capital and private equity firms, family offices, and other investors.

Responsibilities:
· Represent underwriters, issuers and placement agents in IPOs, follow-on public offerings, private placements and other securities offerings
· Advise clients on a variety of domestic and cross-border capital-raising transactions

Required Qualifications:
· 4-7 years of U.S. capital markets experience
· Experience with ’34 Act is a plus

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $265,000 – $400,000.
