About the Position:
Our client, a large and innovative international law firm, is seeking a corporate lawyer with a focus on capital markets to join as an associate in Chicago. This practice advises major public companies and emerging growth companies on SEC and stock exchange compliance, securities offerings, and corporate governance. The team has deep experience handling equity, debt, convertible, and hybrid transactions for issuers, underwriters, and investors in both U.S. and international markets.

Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on a variety of capital markets transactions
· Counsel clients on securities law compliance matters and SEC disclosure and reporting, including with securities offerings, fiduciary duty issues and corporate governance matters

Required Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of capital markets and public company advisory experience
· Strong document drafting skills

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $260,000 – $390,000.
