About the Position:
We are working with a Chicago-based international law firm that is seeking a corporate lawyer with securities/capital markets experience (2+ years) to join its Chicago office as an associate. This practice provides comprehensive and effective capital markets and securities law counseling for corporations, financial institutions, underwriters and placement agents, and other organizations participating in all aspects of international capital markets.

Responsibilities:
· Advise public and private companies on a range of capital markets transactions
· Advise clients on SEC disclosure requirements
· Represent clients with M&A and general corporate matters
Required Qualifications:
· 2 to 5 years of strong corporate transactional experience, particularly with securities, capital markets and M&A
· Experience working on debt and equity offerings, M&A transactions, and SEC compliance and reporting
· Experience with securitizations and aviation clients is a plus
· Large law firm experience
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $230,000 – $280,000.
