About the Position:
Our client, an international Am Law 50 firm, is actively seeking real estate lawyers with substantial commercial leasing experience to join the Chicago office as associates. This firm’s Real Estate Practice represents a diverse group of clients including private equity and investment funds, public and private real estate operating companies, development partners, REITs, and financial institutions. Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on real estate financings, acquisitions and dispositions, and major leasing transactions
· Negotiate major commercial leases and subleases on behalf of both landlords and tenants in the office, retail, entertainment, and industrial space

Required Qualifications:
· 2+ years of significant commercial leasing experience
· Experience with data center leasing, build-to-suit transactions, and/or other specialized commercial leasing is a plus
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary for this position is $235,000+.
