About the Position:
Our client, a sophisticated finance-focused firm with offices across the country, is seeking a junior-level commercial lending attorney (1-3 years of experience) to join its Chicago office as an associate. This industry-leading practice represents clients including, commercial finance companies and state and federally chartered financial institutions in a variety of commercial lending transactions.

Responsibilities:
· Assist with representing lenders in commercial finance lending transactions
· Advise banks and financial institutions in documenting credit transactions
· Work on secured and unsecured bank and private equity fund lending from origination to documentation

Required Qualifications:
· 1-3 years of commercial lending transactions experience from a law firm or bank
· Knowledge of the UCC Article 9 as well as mortgage and property law
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $200,000 – $245,000.
