About the Position:
Our client, a highly-regarded national law firm, is actively seeking a commercial litigator (3-6 yrs of experience) to join as an Associate in its Chicago office. The litigation team at this Am Law 200 firm handles complex, high-stakes disputes across industries, and provides associates with excellent opportunities to work alongside seasoned trial lawyers and gain exposure to sophisticated matters nationwide.

Responsibilities:
· Research, draft and argue motions in civil disputes in Illinois state as well as federal court
· Conduct and draft depositions
· Manage high-volume legal discovery and respond to subpoenas
· Handle all facets of trial preparation
· Work directly with clients on case strategy and counseling

Required Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of experience handling complex commercial disputes, including contract, business tort, and trade secret litigation
· Familiarity with both Illinois procedural law and Cook County court systems
· Strong research and writing skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary for this position is $190,000 – $265,000.
