About the Position:
Our client, an elite law firm with an impactful international footprint and inclusive atmosphere, is seeking a commercial litigation attorney with 4 or more years of experience to join as an Associate in its Chicago office. This practice, known for its global range and local depth of experience, has an impressive roster of high-end clients including leading financial institutions, large corporations, sovereign governments, executives and directors. Attorneys in this practice represent clients in all stages of domestic and international litigation, before trial, appellate, regulatory and alternative dispute resolutions around the world. The individual in this role will oversee legal research, manage certain aspects of discovery, and play a crucial role in deposition discovery, expert witness preparation, and contested court hearings and trials. Ideal candidates will have four or more years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm, specifically with civil litigation and internal investigations, as well as excellent academic credentials.

Required Qualifications:
· 4 or more years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm, with a focus on civil litigation and internal investigations
· Experience with discovery, brief-writing, and supervising junior associates on legal research and document review
· Strong academic credentials
