About the Position:
Our client, a highly-regarded global law firm, is seeking a litigator to join its Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities Servicing team in Chicago as an Associate. This team represents the nation’s largest CMBS special servicers and lenders, handling all aspects of defaulted CMBS deals, including workouts, foreclosures, receiverships and bankruptcies in office involving buildings, retail and lifestyle centers, hotels, multifamily projects, mixed-use projects, industrial projects and other asset classes.

Responsibilities:
· Provide counsel and solutions involving loan enforcement actions with defaulted CMBS loans to a range of clients
· Preparation and servicing of predicate notices
· Appear in court when necessary
· Handle motions, pleadings, and discovery (including e-discovery)

Required Qualifications:
· 4-6 years of experience handling all aspects of commercial foreclosures, receiverships, and real estate-related litigation
· Experience with commercial landlord-tenant litigation

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $275,000 – $350,00
