Our client, an established mid-sized law firm, is seeking an experienced real estate attorney to focus on commercial transactions with a focus on development. The role requires experience with all types of real estate transactions and strong knowledge of property law.

Responsibilities:
· Handles the full transactional lifecycle, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing, plus drafting and negotiating related contracts and leases
· Provide guidance on zoning, land use, and environmental compliance

Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience with a variety of transactional real estate matters, including writing contracts and knowledge of property law
· Experience with the development side of real estate, such as zoning, development, and financing
· Strong academic background
· Admitted to practice in Virginia

Location:
Norfolk, VA (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $155,000 – $200,000.
