About the Position:
Our client, a leading international law firm, has an active need for an attorney focused on commercial technology contracts to join its Chicago office at the counsel-level. The firm boasts a strong technology practice group that has been recognized by Chambers and Best Lawyers.

Responsibilities:
· Draft, negotiate, and review commercial and technical contracts and serve as a trusted advisor on supplier agreements, terms, and disputes
· Partner with stakeholders to streamline contracting workflows, ensure clean contract intake, and provide SLAs, playbooks, and training
· Help build and maintain firm-wide supplier contracting policies, templates, and compliance standards, staying ahead of relevant legal and regulatory developments
· Escalate complex legal or risk matters to appropriate counsel and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment

Required Qualifications:
· 5-7 years counseling on legal contracts, including drafting and negotiation
· Experience building out contract negotiation playbooks, workflows, and training materials is preferred
· A background drafting and negotiating agreements involving AI technology is desirable

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $146,000 – $231,000.
