About the Position:
Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a junior and senior conflict attorney to join its Legal Risk Management department in Chicago. The team clears conflicts of interest for client matters and works directly with lawyers across the firm’s global offices.

Responsibilities:
· Identify and resolve ethical and business conflicts across clients, matters, new business, and incoming lawyers, working closely with the Conflicts and New Business Intake teams and coordinating search requests firmwide
· Review conflicts reports thoroughly and clear issues promptly, while supporting lawyers with engagement letters, waivers, and other related documentation
· Advise attorneys on ethics, professional responsibility, and broader legal risk questions
· Keep current on evolving conflicts and ethics standards across the firm’s jurisdictions, and take on special projects as they arise

· Detail-oriented, with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of related experience in conflicts and legal risk management (junior role)
· 5+ years of related experience in conflicts and legal risk management (senior role)
· Admitted to the bar in the State of Illinois

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range is $150,000 – $220,000.
