About the Position:
Our client, a highly regarded full-service boutique law firm, is seeking a partner-level attorney to join its expanding construction law group. The group is led by partners with deep roots in top construction law practices, representing general contractors, owners, and developers in connection with construction agreements, pre-claim disputes, and complex litigation in courts and arbitration venues across the country.

Responsibilities:
· Manage construction litigation matters from inception through resolution, including cases involving project delay and scheduling, construction and design defects, and mechanic’s liens
· Represent general contractors, owners, and developers in court and arbitration proceedings throughout the United States
· Contribute to the continued growth of the practice group through active business development and professional network cultivation

Required Qualifications:
· 10+ years of litigation experience, including at least 7+ years of construction litigation experience
· Experience handling matters independently from filing through trial or resolution, with strong organizational and case-management skills
· A background in drafting and negotiating construction or design agreements is a plus, but not required
· Demonstrated interest in business development and expanding client relationships

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range is $250,000 – $350,000 (additional formula contingent on portable book).
