About the Position:
We are working with one of the largest global law firms that has an immediate need for an attorney with construction development experience to join its Chicago office at the associate or counsel-level. The firm works on all phases of development for project owners, institutional investors, developers, financiers, and consultants.

Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on the development, financing, and construction of large-scale infrastructure and energy projects, including renewable energy, energy storage, and power generation matters
· Negotiate and draft engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) agreements, equipment procurement agreements, and operations and maintenance agreements
· Structure and negotiate long-term services agreements and other project development and commercial agreements supporting energy transition technologies
· Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex, high-profile project development matters

Required Qualifications:
· 4-10+ years of experience as a projects development attorney
· Background in project development within the power, energy, oil & gas, or chemical industries, or substantial construction experience on large-scale infrastructure matters
· Experience negotiating EPC agreements, equipment procurement agreements, O&M agreements, long-term services agreements, and other project development agreements
· Renewable energy project experience preferred
· Strong academic credentials

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $300,000 – $420,000.
