About the Position:
Our client, a top-tier global law firm, is actively seeking a corporate lawyer to join its Chicago office as an associate. Responsibilities:
· Support private equity sponsors and portfolio companies across the investment lifecycle, including initial platform acquisitions, add-ons, and portfolio company governance and exits
· Draft a variety of transaction-related documents, including purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, ancillary agreements, and closing documentation
· Conduct legal due diligence and coordinate diligence review across deal teams

Required Qualifications:
· 2-5 years of experience with M&A and private equity deal transactions, preferably from a large law firm
· Proficiency in drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and other documentation used in M&A and private equity transactions
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000 – $365,000.
