About the Position:
Our client, a global Am Law firm, is actively seeking a corporate attorney focused on mergers, acquisitions, and private equity funds to join its practice as an associate in Chicago. This firm’s Global Corporate Group practice handles the full spectrum of transactions for its portfolio of investors and asset managers.

Responsibilities:
· Advise private equity sponsors, investors, family offices, and alternative asset managers, along with their portfolio companies, on corporate and investment matters
· Represent clients in leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, growth-equity investments, and joint ventures
· Handle transactions from diligence through closing, including drafting and negotiating acquisition and equity documents and helping lead deal teams

Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of M&A and private equity transactional experience
· Admitted to the bar in the State of Illinois

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000 – $390,000.
