About the Position:
Our client, a highly-regarded legacy law firm in Virginia, is seeking a corporate transactional lawyer to join its sophisticated practice as an associate or junior-level partner in Norfolk, VA. This firm represents a diverse roster of national and international clients and offers exposure to complex M&A transactions, commercial contracting matters, and other high-value corporate work within a collegial, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
· Support M&A and other corporate transactions
· Assist with corporate governance matters and entity management
· Advise on issues arising from domestic and international business operations
· Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, including customer and vendor agreements, NDAs, SaaS and licensing, services, procurement, and strategic partnerships
· Provide legal advice to cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications:
· 4+ years of corporate transactional experience, including significant experience with commercial contracting and/or M&A
· Experience with technology, licensing, data privacy, or product counseling is a plus
· Prior experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department
· Strong drafting skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $160,000+.
