We are working with an Am Law firm headquartered in Chicago that has an immediate need for a corporate/investment services attorney (1+ yrs) to join its thriving practice. Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on corporate and securities law matters, with a focus on registered investment companies and investment advisers, private funds, and regulatory compliance
· Handle regulatory and compliance matters involving the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933
· Manage multiple client matters simultaneously

Required Qualifications:
· 1 or more years of corporate or securities law experience
· Experience working with registered investment companies, investment advisers, and private funds
· Knowledge of federal securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933
· Experience in M&A matters involving investment companies is preferred
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $205,000+.
