About the Position:
Our client, an international Am Law 100 firm, has an active need for a corporate M&A lawyer to join its Corporate & Finance practice group in Chicago office as an associate. This firm has been nationally recognized in Corporate/M&A by Chambers USA for the last three years and handles public and private acquisitions, unsolicited bids and proxy contests, spinoffs, carve-outs, joint ventures, going-private transactions, and special committee representations.

Responsibilities:
· Handle all aspects of mergers and acquisitions transactions, including conducting due diligence, drafting ancillary documents, and managing deal checklists

Required Qualifications:
· 3-4 years of mergers and acquisitions experience
· Strong drafting and negotiation skills
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $365,000.
