Our client, a premier Am Law firm headquartered in Chicago, is actively seeking an M&A attorney to join its sophisticated finance and transactions practice as a mid-level associate. This firm serves a prestigious client base across the globe, and this thriving practice is well-known for advising private equity funds, venture capital funds, investment bankers, and lenders regarding complex transactions.

Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on a broad spectrum of corporate matters, with a focus on private company M&A, and complex corporate and financing transactions
· Manage initial stages of a deal including negotiating term sheets and drafting /revising drafts of purchase/merger agreements
· Simultaneously manage multiple corporate transactional matters

Required Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of transactional/M&A experience at a law firm
· Significant experience specifically with private company M&A

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $340,000.
