Our client, a global, Midwest-based law firm, is actively seeking a corporate lawyer to join its premier practice as an associate in Chicago. This firm’s M&A attorneys handle transactions of every size, from billion-dollar deals for large household name clients to middle-market deals.

Responsibilities:
· Work on a range of corporate and transactional matters, including U.S. and cross-border acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, and related strategic transactions
· Counsel businesses on a variety of general corporate matters

Required Qualifications:
· 4-8 years of significant experience with M&A transactions
· Experience with private equity-driven transactions is a plus
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $290,000 – $420,000.
