About the Position:
Our client, a strong and established Chicago law firm with a highly regarded corporate transactions practice, is actively seeking a corporate M&A attorney to join as a senior-level associate. This practice represents business owners, investors, and organizations ranging from mid-sized, entrepreneur-operated companies to large global companies in corporate counseling, M&A, capital raising, business formation, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:
· Manage private company M&A deals from initial strategy through closing, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents
· Advise clients on compliance, board governance, and organizational matters
· Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including LLC/shareholder agreements
· Provide comprehensive support to companies on a wide range of general corporate matters

Required Qualifications:
· 6-8 years of corporate transactional experience, including M&A, private equity, and securities offerings
· Strong writing skills to draft and review commercial contracts and shareholder agreements
· An entrepreneurial mindset and a dedication to developing new skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $315,000 – $340,000.
