About the Position:
Our client, a strong and established Chicago law firm with a highly regarded corporate practice, is actively seeking a corporate M&A attorney to join as an associate. This thriving practice represents business owners, investors, and organizations ranging from mid-sized, entrepreneur-operated companies to large global companies in corporate counseling, M&A, capital raising, business formation, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:
· Assist clients with a range of corporate transactions, including private company mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and LLC/shareholder agreements
· Advise middle market companies on various general corporate matters

Required Qualifications:
· 3 to 5 years of corporate transactional experience
· Previous experience with private securities offerings and private equity is a plus

· Strong academic credentials and writing skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $200,000 – $250,000.
