About the Position:
Our client, one of the largest and most recognized global law firms, is actively seeking a mergers and acquisitions attorney to join its Chicago office as a mid-level associate. Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions
· Advise on M&A-related securities matters and prepare M&A-related securities filings
· Run diligence and the corporate approval process for both public and private company targets

Required Qualifications:
· 3 to 4 years of significant M&A transactional experience at a large law firm (or extensive second chair experience on smaller transactions)
· Experience drafting purchase agreements and merger agreements
· Familiarity with managing deal work of junior-level associates preferred
· Strong academic credentials
