About the Position:
Our client, a highly-regarded global law firm, is seeking a corporate transactional lawyer with strong private equity experience to join its Chicago office as an associate. Attorneys in this practice serve as trusted advisors to private equity funds, independent sponsors, family offices and their portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
· Represent private equity funds, independent sponsors, family offices, and portfolio companies in a broad range of transactional matters, including M&A, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, growth financings, entity formation, and strategic joint ventures and partnerships
· Draft transaction agreements and documents
· Negotiate deal terms
· Manage transaction closings and processes

Required Qualifications:
· 4-6 years of experience with private equity transactions
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $310,000 – $390,000.
