About the Position:
Our client, a leading Am Law firm, has an active need for a corporate real estate lawyer to join its Chicago office as an associate. The person in this role will focus on a wide range of transactional matters for the real estate practice group, including drafting and negotiating agreements, leases, and loan documents, and providing counsel to all parties from signing to closing.

Responsibilities:
· Prepare and negotiate agreements, from purchase-and-sale contracts to joint ventures and financing paperwork
· Guide commercial property deals through their full life cycle, spanning purchases, sales, financing, and leasing across a variety of asset types
· Steer transactions through closing, coordinating with lenders, title companies, and the other side’s counsel

Required Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of experience with a breadth of real estate transaction work
· Excellent academic credentials
· Strong drafting and negotiation skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $270,000 – $385,000.
