About the Position:
Our client, a full-service boutique law firm in Chicago, is actively seeking a corporate lawyer with 10+ years of experience to join as an income partner. Attorneys in this firm’s corporate practice handle a variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, financing, commercial contracts, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring. Some portable business is required.

Responsibilities:
· Handle a range of sophisticated corporate transactions, including M&A, entity formations, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, finance transactions, and other general corporate matters
· Draft and negotiate commercial contracts
· Provide advice and counsel to large, midsize and small businesses and individuals from a wide variety of industries

Required Qualifications:
· 10 or more years of corporate transactional experience, including M&A
· Some portable business required
· Experience with fundraising docs is a plus

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000+, plus a strong origination bonus structure.
