Our client, a sophisticated Am Law firm, is seeking a corporate attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate. This role allows associates the opportunity to work directly with clients on a broad range of corporate matters. Clients include health systems and Fortune 500 companies, to private equity backed and family-run companies. Responsibilities:
· Advise private companies, private equity firms and their portfolio companies, and health care organizations on a range of corporate transactions and business matters
· Work on middle-market mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity investments, corporate restructurings and general corporate governance matters
· Support clients throughout the business life cycle, assisting with entity formation, governance and strategic transactions across a variety of industries
· Draft and review organizational and governance documents and transaction documents for acquisitions, financings and other corporate matters

Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of corporate transactions experience, including M&A
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $250,000 – $390,000.
