About the Position:
Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is actively seeking a cybersecurity lawyer to join its Chicago office an associate. This role offers the opportunity to join a leading firm in the cybersecurity space. Responsibilities:
· Advise national and multinational clients on cybersecurity incidents and post-incident regulatory investigations
· Counsel clients on privacy, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and risk management issues
· Work on incident response tabletops, cybersecurity program building, and risk assessments
· Assist with state, federal, and international data security incident notification obligations

Required Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of privacy and cybersecurity breach preparedness and incident response experience
· Familiarity with state, national, and international privacy and cybersecurity laws (breach notice laws, CCPA, GDPR, GLBA) is a plus
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $245,000 – $345,000.
