Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on privacy and security compliance for clients of all sizes – from Fortune 500s to start-ups
· Work on a wide range of data protection issues, including cross-border transfers, product counseling, corporate transactions, regulatory transactions, and compliance
· Draft and review privacy notices, terms of service, incident response plans and other data protection policies, as well as a variety of commercial agreements involving data sharing
Required Qualifications:
· 3 or more years of experience providing legal advice on data privacy and protection matters
· Experience assisting companies with compliance issues (related to CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, FTC Act) and other global privacy laws and
· IAPP CIPP certification (U.S. and EU) strongly preferred
· Knowledge of HIPAA, FCRA, GLBA, COPPA, TCPA, CAN-SPAM is a plus
· Large law firm experience
