Our client, a top-tier global law firm with a large and established Chicago office is actively seeking a data privacy and cybersecurity lawyer (2 or more years of experience) to join its practice as an associate.

Responsibilities:
· Assist the team with advising clients on the development of enterprise privacy programs
· Advise on the operational impact of newly-enacted privacy legislation; privacy and data use related consumer disclosures and internal policy documents; and privacy/security risks in product design, operational use, and proposed business partnerships
· Apply evolving laws to data-driven products
· Assist with transactional due diligence and incident response

Required Qualifications:
· 2+ years of data privacy/cyber security/technology experience
· Familiarity with key U.S. and global privacy laws
· Technology/software development industry experience preferred
· CIPP/US certification preferred
