Our client, an international Am Law firm, is actively seeking a debt finance attorney with large law firm experience to join as a mid-level associate in its Chicago office. Responsibilities:
· Assist issuers, underwriters/initial purchasers, institutional investors, private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, and placement agents in navigating the full spectrum of debt financing and debt securities transactions
· Guide clients with structuring loans and developing the appropriate documentation
· Advise clients on the intricacies of debt instruments in a variety of industries
· Structure a range of registered public offerings, 144A debt placements, and traditional private placements
Required Qualifications:
· 1-5 years of experience representing lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions, including experience in closing transactions
· Familiarity with secured lending transactions, drafting documents and issues lists, Article 9 of the UCC, acquisition financing, debt securities offerings, and general corporate law preferred
· Top academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000 – $365,000.
