About the Position:
Our client, a renowned global law firm, has an active need for a debt finance lawyer to join its highly regarded practice as a junior-level associate in its large and established Chicago office. Responsibilities:
· Advise private equity funds, corporations and portfolio companies on debt financings for acquisitions, refinancings, recapitalizations and general corporate needs
· Represent commercial banks, direct lenders, private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers in connection with unsecured and secured credit facilities
· Draft and negotiate commitment papers, security agreements, credit agreements and other loan documents

Required Qualifications:
· 2-3 years of experience handling debt finance matters in a law firm environment
· Experience with UCC matters and other general corporate transactions
· Excellent academic credentials

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $235,000 – $260,000.
