About the Position:
Our client, a leading Am Law firm, has an active need for a lawyer with 1-4 years of employee benefits experience to join its collegial practice in Chicago. This industry-leading transactional practice guides clients through complex employee benefits issues arising in a variety of corporate transactions (M&A, carve-outs, divestitures) and restructuring matters with respect to qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, ESOPs, multiemployer plans and health and welfare benefit plans.

Responsibilities:
· Represent clients on a wide-range of employee benefits matters, including qualified plans, multiemployer plans, health and welfare plans and ACA compliance
· Handle employee benefit aspects of corporate transactions
· Represent debtors in the employee benefits aspects of bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring
Required Qualifications:
· 1-4 years of experience with ERISA and employee benefits
· Extensive experience with M&A and/or restructuring within the employee benefits area
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000 – $310,000.
