About the Position:
Our client, a dynamic national law firm with an established Chicago office, has an immediate need for an employee benefits/executive compensation lawyer (5+ yrs) to join its Chicago office as an associate. This firm has over 600 attorneys across the country and regularly represents well-known companies, trade associations, private individuals, and governments. This is a tremendous opportunity for a well-rounded practitioner who has experience ranging from health and welfare to M&A work.

· Represent clients including banks, corporations, hedge funds, insurance companies, and executives with compensation and benefits matters
· Assist clients with the selection, design, and implementation of employee benefit plans, arrangements, and transactions

Required Qualifications:
· 5 or more years of employee benefits/executive compensation experience including a tax-qualified plan background
· Experience with health and welfare benefits, securities, and M&A work
· Top academic credentials and excellent research and writing skills
