About the Position:
Our client, one of the largest law firms in the world, is actively seeking an employee benefits/executive compensation lawyer to join its Chicago office as an associate. This global practice group shapes benefits law and advises on retirement plans, health & welfare programs and executive compensation, giving its lawyers client-facing, sophisticated work and exposure to influential, market-moving engagements.

Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on all aspects of employee benefits matters, including executive compensation, retirement plans, health and welfare plans, ERISA, and M&A
Required Qualifications:
· 2-6 years of employee benefits experience
· Experience with complex issues of executive compensation, retirement plans, and health and welfare plans
· Strong familiarity with ERISA compliance
· Excellent academic credentials and writing skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000 – $275,000.
