About the Position:
Our client, a top Am Law 50 firm with a large and established Chicago office, is actively seeking an attorney with employment counseling experience (international employment counseling strongly preferred) to join as an associate in Chicago. The person in this role will support cross-border and global employment work, and provide advice and counsel to clients, ranging from emerging growth to Fortune 500 companies, in all aspects of employment law.

Responsibilities:
· Conduct employment diligence and advise on employment aspects of corporate transactions
· Advise on employment policies and practices, as well as reductions in force and other employee terminations
· Draft and negotiate employment, retention and related agreements

Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of employment counseling experience
· International counseling experience is strongly preferred for candidates with 3-4 years of experience and is required for candidates with more than 5 years of experience
· Large law firm experience (Am Law 100 preferred)
· Excellent academic credentials and writing skills

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base compensation for this position is $235,000 – $435,000.
