We are working with a premier mid-size law firm with an immediate need for an employment attorney (8+ yrs) to join its Chicago office as a senior associate or junior partner. Responsibilities:
· Assist clients with developing employment policies and handbooks
· Counsel clients on a broad range of employment issues including HR, DEI, recruiting, terminations, leaves of absence, and workplace investigations
· Handle all phases of litigation matters in state and federal courts
· Participate in business development activities, including conferences, client presentations, and networking events
Required Qualifications:
· 8 or more years of experience defending individuals and businesses in employment law and litigation matters
· Experience in all phases of litigation, including discovery, pleadings, motions and briefs, taking/defending depositions, and appearing in court
· Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $170,000 – $235,000.
