About the Position:
Our client, one of the largest and most recognized global law firms, is seeking an executive compensation lawyer to join its Chicago office as an associate. This highly-regarded practice partners with publicly traded and privately held clients and advises them in transactional and litigation matters related to compensation and other incentive programs around the world.

Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on legal, regulatory, and tax matters associated with compensation arrangements in cross-border M&As, spin-offs, divestitures, IPOs, and redomiciles
· Design, implement and maintain global incentive and compensation arrangements
· Draft correspondence, memoranda, legal opinions, and other client-related documents
Required Qualifications:
· 1-6 years of global incentive and compensation arrangements experience, particularly share-based plans, including cross-border M&A, spin-offs, divestitures, IPOs, and redomestications
· Top academic credentials
· Large law firm experience preferred
· Candidates with U.S. domestic executive compensation and other incentive arrangements experience will also be considered, as will candidates with strong global tax or employment law backgrounds

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000 – $390,000.
