About the Position:
We are working with a growing Midwest-based law firm that has an immediate need for a trusts and estates attorney (10+ yrs) to join the firm’s up-and-coming Chicago office as an Of Counsel or Partner (no biz required). This practice assists a sophisticated client base, including senior executives and multi-generation family businesses, with a range of trusts and estates matters. Responsibilities:
· Advise a sophisticated client base that includes wealthy families, executives of large private and public companies, entertainers, and professional athletes
· Prepare federal estate tax returns for taxable estates and gift tax returns
· Handle IRS estate tax and gift tax audits for individuals, trusts, and estates

Required Qualifications:
· 10 or more years of experience with high-level estate planning and tax experience, including gift strategies and asset protection
· No portable business is required
