About the Position:
Our client, a Midwest-based national law firm, has an immediate need for a finance lawyer (3+ yrs) with private equity experience to join its thriving practice in Chicago as a mid or senior-level associate. This full-service firm represents some of the most well-known corporations in the country and offers a small office atmosphere with the resources of a large law firm.

Responsibilities:
· Assist with managing all aspects of finance transactions, including negotiation, documentation, and closing
· Handle varied and complex finance transactions for clients in the middle-market

Required Qualifications:
· 3 or more years of experience representing lenders and borrowers in financial transactions, including with private equity acquisitions and both senior and mezzanine debt transactions
· Experience structuring and closing financing transactions in a range of industries
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $233,500 – $300,000.
