About the Position:
Our client, a prestigious Am Law 50 firm, has an active need for a restructuring lawyer to join its Chicago office as an associate in its finance practice group. This firm’s global restructuring practice operates as one of the largest specialized legal groups of its kind, handling complex domestic and cross-border business reorganizations, formal insolvencies, distressed M&A, and liability management exercises.

Responsibilities:
· Represent and advise companies experiencing financial difficulties, lenders and creditors in complex business reorganizations, debt restructurings and financing matters
· Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client matters
· Draft, review, negotiate, and revise contracts, transaction documents, disclosure schedules, and ancillary agreements

Required Qualifications:
· 1-5 years of financial restructuring experience
· Am Law 100 law firm experience preferred
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000 – $365,000.
