About the Position:
Our client, a prominent Am Law 50 firm based in Chicago, is seeking a finance lawyer with funds experience to join as an associate in its Chicago office. This global practice has represented the lead agent and lenders in over 500 subscription credit facilities in the last two years and has relationships with every major US lender along with the majority of active lenders in the European and Asian markets.

Responsibilities:
· Represent lenders in negotiating and documenting subscription credit facilities to private equity and real estate funds
· Handle secured and unsecured lending transactions, such as fund financings, acquisition financings, leveraged finance deals, bridge loans, and other complex domestic and cross-border syndicated and bi-lateral financings

Required Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of substantial experience with fund finance and leveraged finance/private credit
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $260,000 to $365,000.
