About the Position:
We are working with a global law firm that has an active need for a fund formation attorney to join its Chicago office as a mid/senior-level associate. The attorneys in this practice advise clients on the formation, structuring, and negotiation of a wide variety of private investment funds, as well as a range of securities, tax, and regulatory issues.

Responsibilities:
· Advise fund sponsors and major institutional investors on the formation, structuring, and negotiation of a wide variety of private investment funds
· Handle fund operational issues
· Work directly with senior leadership at fund manager clients

Required Qualifications:
· 4-6 years of experience with structuring and forming private investment funds
· Must have experience handling fund operational issues and negotiating with fund investors
· Strong academic credentials

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $265,000 – $390,000.
