We are working with a global Am Law 50 Firm that has an immediate need for a health care attorney (2+ years of experience) to join its Chicago office as a mid-level associate and focus on regulatory and transactional matters. Responsibilities:
· Represent a range of health care clients, including hospitals, physician groups, health care systems, and academic medical centers
· Assist with negotiating and structuring transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity transactions
· Counsel clients on regulatory and compliance issues
· Represent clients in government investigations and audits

Required Qualifications:
· 2+ years of health care transactional and regulatory experience
· Knowledge of regulatory issues and laws, including Stark Law, HIPAA privacy, False Claims Act, Medicare, Medicaid, and physician contracting.
· Must have excellent academic credentials
